英文Resume的三种格式

　　一般而言，英文履历表分为三种格式：

　　Chronological: 这种格式强调过去的工作经验，将所有相关的工作经验 按照时间先後（先排最近的）列出，以显示自己有足够的经验能胜任申请的工作或学位。

　　Functional: 主要在强调自己的特殊技能，这种格式较适合工作经验不足、或是 想要跨领域，使得过去经验和未来想做的事关联较小的人使用。

　　Combination: 顾名思义这种格式综合了上述两种格式，采用的人很多。

　　英文简历的几种常见形式

　　正值毕业季，很多小伙伴都开始找工作了，在这之前，制作一份高质量的简历是相当重要的，优秀的简历能让面试官眼前一亮，并留下良好印象！想去外企工作的小伙伴，一份优秀的英语简历，更会增加你的印象分。

　　如何写出令人刮目相看的英语简历？

　　① Simple formatting 简洁的排版

　　Make it easy for others to read it. If it’s a headache to look at, chances are it won’t be read.  易读、一目了然、让人看了舒服

　　Choose a standard black Times New Roman or Arial font in 9 to 12 point size against a white background.  用常规的标准字体，比如Times New Roman 或者Arial, 9到12号的字体大小、白底

　　You may choose a different font type or bigger font size for your name, company, and job positions held, but make sure to be consistent. Don’t go overboard with additional formatting such as bold, italics, and underlining.  你的名字、曾经的职位可以用其它字体或字体大小来突出，但是注意保持一致性，不要混用多种不同的字体和大小

　　② Experience first 把工作经验放在教育背景前面

　　Unless you recently graduated, your experience matters more than the college you attended. List your education after your relevant work experience. 除非你是应届毕业生

　　③ Reduce jargon 减少术语

　　Don’t assume that someone with expertise in your field will be reading your resume. 读你简历的人不一定都了解你的行业和专业

　　Avoid terms that people outside of your industry wouldn’t understand. 所以最好减少专业术语的使用

　　④ Never refer to yourself in the first person 不要用第一人称

　　Drop the "I" from your resume. 简历里千万不要出现"I"

　　Instead of saying "I managed a team of 50 people", "I increased sales by 50%", simply remove "I" from your sentences. 只要在句子里去掉"I"就可以了

　　⑤ Eliminate meaningless phrases 去掉空话、废话

　　These generic phrases don’t actually mean much.

　　Take out clichés like "customer-oriented,""excellent communicator," "team player,""hard working," and "motivated." 没错，这些简历爱用词都是千篇一律的空话、废话
