luo wen, in my mind, was always strict with himself in his singing career. his early song were all vigorous and inspiring,partly for the special social environment at that time. later, as the idol singers came up one after another, the old songs were not fit for the young fans, so he tried to change his style. and these years, he began to help some new singers to improve their skills. his songs were so influential that the hk minister of finance even used one to encourage all the citizens to work hard to gether and overcome the difficulty bravely.
unfortunately, about two years ago, the news that he got cancer flew into our ears. however, he still went on singing and teaching. he had been struggling with the disease until the last minute. as the newspapers reported, he didnt close his eyes when he died. someone said it was because he had a wish unfulfilled. he had hoped to give the last performance in hk in september, but his illness prevented him from doing that. it may be the biggest regret in his life. its also said that he only weighed 32 kilograms at the end of his life. you cant imagine how much he had suffered from the disease. but every time we saw him in public, he was wearing a smile.

The Ten Days’ Military Training The day we were looking forward to came at last----a ten days’ military training began.
During the training, each of us did his part in earnest. We drilled more than six hours a day, though it was very hot at the time. In the blazing sun, we always tried to measure up to the high standards which were demanded . Sweat streamed down and we wouldnt wipe it off. Only three days later our faces were tanned. We felt happy and proud of it .
Our platoon officer were two young PLA man, about twenty years old. They were very strict with us during the training and very kind to us afterwards. By talking with them, we came to know not only more information about army life, but also about military affairs.
The military training gave us good discipline. It brought us great happiness, too. Well never forget it.

It has become a large-scale outdoor ice lantern show for the traditional activities of the Ice and Snow Festival of Harbin. The 28th Ice Lantern Artistic Show will still be he1d in Zhaolin Park this year. This session of ice and lantern snow shall take "Wonderful Garden 0n the Silk Road, and Ice and Snow on the North of the Great Wall" as its main theme. The show takes the great development of the west China as its topic, and presents the customs and long history and culture of the great northwest China to people. This ice lantern show will put emphasis on the products strategy and famous brand effect. Outstanting achievements will be obtained in cultural contents, technological application, artistic modeling, lighting effect, and mass participation.
This ice lantern show will consist of 2002 pieces 0f ice sculpture artistic works in 10 grand scenery zones. Totally 25,000 cubic meters of ice will be used.

I have been trying my best to face all the failures in my life since I got the encouragement from my mom.It makes me understand that however hard your life is,once you work hard and never give up,nothing could stop you going forward.
