How to adapt youself to college life
There are obvious differences between high school life and college life. First,college students will live in the dormitory with classmates who come from various places, and who may have different living habits. Second,college teachers ,instead of explaning in detail how to solve every problem, might only tell different approaches to the problem, and leave students to study and solve problems independently. Finally, in college,there is more free time for students to spend on.
However how should the college freshman adapt himself to these differeces. First of all, he should learn to be tolerant and consider more for others,which is necessary for group living. Moreover he should take active part in collective activities and make more communication with classmates and teachers. It will help he be smoothly integrated with your new environment. Besides,as to study,he should develop a good habit of self-teaching and learn to arrange study independently. Of course,it may take a freshman some while to become accustomed to the study and life in college. However, we all have to accept constant challenges of new things in our life. In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal college life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal college life.
Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know, college is wildly different from middle school. It connects not only adolescence to adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. Therefore, the ideal college life is that I become matured both physically and mentally, and that I obtain qualified academic knowledge and get well prepared for society at the same time.
Under this circumstance, I never expect my college life to be too ideal, or you can call it too perfect. It is not realistic to make all things on my own way, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on. Of course, I’d like to lead a carefree life. However, this does little good to my future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjust treatment. Only after experiencing those can I know what society is like, and what life is like.
To conclude my speech, I wanna say, some positive experiences are surely part of the ideal college life. But, I should not forget about the negative sides. They are not less necessary.

Not all college graduates are suitable for undertaking entrepreneurial projects. The essential difference between the students who become civic servants in government organizations or employees at leading domestic or multinational companies and those who create their own businesses is that the former are docile followers whereas the latter are aggressive trailblazers. I don't think it's necessarily a volunteer to be a volunteer, but not a volunteer. In my opinion, volunteering is just a term. 昨天，青岛大学自动化工程学院青年志愿者协会携手青岛微尘发起了一场名为“做微尘，献爱心”的公益活动，我作为一名青协义工有幸参与了这场募捐活动。此次募捐活动主要是以义卖物品的方式来募集善款，活动在青岛大学中心校区进行。我们青协义工共分为6个小组，每组一般10人，青大校园内随处可见义工们募集善款的身影。说实话，当我穿上市南义工工作服的时候，我感到无比的骄傲和自豪，那时的我突然觉得自己多了一份使命，觉得自己也可以为社会，为他人贡献自己的一份力量了。

我认为其实并不是一定压迫成为义工群里的成员才是义工，而不是成员就不义工了。在我看来，义工只是一个称谓，我们每个人日常生活中随时随地都可以去做义工。比如：帮助老人过马路，为别人捡起掉下的`东西，再比如在公交车上为老人让座，等等等等，只要你在做这些东西了，你就是一名义工了。

Firstly one child policy will make children feel lonely. It means every couple only has one child. We know clearly that there is not everything children are willing to tell their parents. Growing up with no brother or sister, the child may be easily in mental problem such as autism. In addition, parents with only one child will spoil their child overly. As a consequence the child will be the so called little emperor or little princess. When the child grows up it is difficult for the child to adapt to the world the society
All in all to some extent one child policy will solve the large population problem but from the perspective of long term development of china it does no good. Because we must take the young generations healthy growing up into consideration.

Currently the ranking of colleges is very prevalent in China, fueled by parents who are eager to look for guidance and universities which spend lavishly to raise their standings.
But there has been much debate about the value of such rankings. Some experts speak highly of the rankings, noting that.the league tables are useful to college-bound students and their parents. The view is echoed by a 20xx study, which concludes that the rankings spur universities to do a better job of educating students. Others, however, cannot share this point of view. They dismiss the rankings as pointless, bluntly pointing out the dubious statistics used in the rankings. They think the very idea ridiculous that universities with very different cultures and programs can be compared.
As for me, I side with the former view. Though it is incredibly difficult to judge how well a university performs, it does not necessarily mean the panorama of a university is unavailable.
