关于承办“英语之星”演讲比赛策划方案
为了丰富文化节内容和广大同学的课余生活，加强英语的学习和交流，提高同学们学习英语的积极性，给学生提供一个展现自我，提升自我的机会和舞台，校团委决定举办“英语之星”演讲比赛。
一.赛前准备工作：
1.明确承办比赛的纲要
1）活动目的`
〈1〉提高同学学习英语的积极性，特别是提高对英语口语训练的积极性。
〈2〉丰富学生的课余生活。
〈3〉为大学生提供一个学习和交流英语学习的平台，共同进步。 〈4〉加深对英语口语的重要性的认识。
〈5〉通过举办活动，为广大英语爱好者提供一个互相交流和学习的机会。
2）参赛选手要求：
（1）在校学生，性别年龄不限（2）主题由承办单位选定后，题目自选，要求内容积极、健康、向上。（3）如有背景音乐，则自带光碟。
（4）自备服装和道具
3）参赛人数：
选拔赛自由报名，每个系2－3人
4）时间及有关场地安排：
时间：10月28日中午12：00报名截止（逾期作弃权处理，通过电子邮件形式报名以收到确定邮件为准）
11月1日公布录音选拔赛名单
11月3日录音选拔，根据报名情况分批进行
11月5日上午公布录音选拔前12名名单，同时，中午12：00进行演讲抽签，公布命题演讲题目（地点待定）
11月9日交演讲稿（电子版，打印版）、电子版照片到联系人处 11月11日星期四晚7：00（演讲比赛）

5）比赛环节
比赛分为两个环节：录音选拔及演讲比赛。
6）录音选拔：
录音选拔出英语发音纯正、有英语演讲才能的人，其前12名参加演讲比赛。
7）演讲比赛：
〈1〉比赛流程：
比赛由二部分组成：一，先进行命题演讲（限时3分钟），命题演讲结束后，评委提问1—2个问题，选手回答限时1分钟。二，即兴演讲（选手准备30秒，回答限时2分钟）；其中命题演讲是参赛者围绕我们的主题在比赛前选好文章进行演讲。即兴演讲是现场抽题现场回答。评委们用英语提问，可以是与主题有关的或是演讲者在演讲过程中涉及的问题或是评委感兴趣的问题，参赛者用英文回答，这考察了选手们的应变能力和对英语的运用能力。
（2）评分标准：（满分100分）
●仪表形象：（20分）1）着装整齐，大方得体。（10分）2）姿态自然，动作适度。（10分）
●演讲内容：（50分）3）主题鲜明，符合主题内容。（25分）4）内容充实，事例动人，贴近生活，富有鲜明的时代感。（15分）5）行文流畅，用词精练，详略得当。（10分）
●语言艺术：（30分）6）发音标准，流利。（10分）7）节奏处理得当，技巧运用自如。（10分）8）表现力、应变能力强，能活跃气氛，引起高潮。（10分）
（3）评分规则：评委明确给出每部分评分（评分为整数），由工作人员进行最后加总，去掉最高分与最低分，取平均分为选手比赛成绩，按成绩排名分别获一、二、三等奖。最佳台风奖和最受欢迎奖由评委票选得出（如票数相同则得分高者获奖）
8）奖项设立:
一等奖1名（同时获英语之星称号）二等奖2名三等奖3名鼓励奖若干名
同时在此比赛中设立最佳台风奖，最受欢迎奖各一名。（此奖项与上述奖项不冲突）
9）颁奖：比赛结束后，颁发获奖证书和奖品
2.前期宣传准备工作（院团委宣传部负责：刘愉强）
1）10月18日将此活动通知各院系分团委研分会，希望各院系协助组织有此方面特长的同学报名参加
，每个学院推荐2～3位同学。
2）通过我校团委、学生会向学院团委、学生会发邀请函，协助报名。 3）10月19日起将张贴海报在BBS上发贴，宣布大赛报名正式开始。报名截止于10月28日中午12：00。
4）做好宣传工作。
5）10月28日左右将再一次张贴海报
6）11月3日左右进行初赛。
3.主持人的选定（组委会负责）

4.评委和嘉宾的邀请：（组委会理事负责）
1）邀请7个评委参加比赛的评选工作，其中最好有一两个外教，其中一个外教在比赛后做点评
2）邀请相关院系领导或辅导员，校学生会主管领导做出席大赛嘉宾
3）嘉宾和评委可做颁奖人
4）所有评委和嘉宾在11月8号前确定
5.比赛内容和资料
1）录音选拔赛的资料由总策划收集整理并审核确认。2）决赛即兴演讲资料由总策划收集整理制作，3）为保密起见，不能让其他人知晓。
4）录音选拔资料在11月2号前确定，决赛现场抽题资料在11月9号前做好。5）以上两人如果参加比赛，则另选人负责。

Honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen,The fairytale of Aladdin has always been my childhood favorite. I was mesmerized by how Aladdin used his three magic wishes. As a small girl, I dreamed of having the magic wishes to go wherever I wanted to go and see whatever I wanted to see. As you can probably guess, I haven't found my genie in the lamp yet, however, I have found something just as exciting and it has made marvelous changes in not only my life, but the lives of all human-beings. It is called technology.
I still remember how my father told me about his childhood back in those days when China was not as open and developed as it is now. Children would run for kilometers to school, make toys with wood by themselves, and the biggest dream of a child was holding two jars of sugar, one white, the other brown in each arm and having the choice of eating whichever he wanted. Just look at what we have now. Magnificent technological advancement has opened up a whole new world to us.
However, just as our lives become more convenient, problems arise from this new life style. We seem to be caged in the modern technology; we are thinking alike as a result of using the same search engine, we are getting lazy as most of our work can be done by machines, and we are alienating people around us for we are more comfortable talking on phones and typing in front of a computer.
If I was given the chance to make my magic wishes now, I would wish we could go back in time and live for three days without advanced technology. I wonder what we would do in those three days. Here is what I imagine:
On the first day, people would be feeling so uncomfortable with the new situation that they would probably be confused and just not know what to do. The world would be in a mess for the whole day.
On the second day, as life goes on, people would have to find alternative ways to deal with their daily rituals: students would have to go to libraries for information they wanted instead of searching on Google; boys would have to express their affection to girls in person instead of sending an annoying txt message; and the young people of today would have the chance to experience the childhood of their parents. On this particular day, we could recover all we had lost in the modern world.
Then comes the third day. After the previous two days, we would gradually come to realize that we should have paid more attention to our studies and work as we actually have so much creativity and potential within ourselves. We would also realize that we should have spent more time with a friend, a parent or a child as we do love them, but we don't really understand them due to the lack of personal communication. We shouldn't have been so dependent on modern technology as it wasn't invented to confine us, but to inspire us. This last day would be spent in sparks of new ideas and sweet moments with our loved ones.
Maybe some would argue that it is just my imagination, and that magic would never work in our world. True, but magic can always work in our hearts, helping us understand that we, instead of the machine, are the masters of the world. The key is to treasure our human initiative and connections, to see the world with our own eyes, explore the unknown with our minds and treat others with our hearts. Just like Aladdin didn't choose to use magic to gain a happy life, we can make our choice, too. And when we do, we will live, as in the fairy tales, happily ever after. Thank you.

People's opinions are always different once they talk about campus love. Some people hold the idea that campus love is a bitter fruit which may cause pains and make people hurt. As far as I'm concerned, I do not quite agree with the two kinds of opinions mentioned above. Water pollution cause many kinds ofdisease that have negative effects on human beings, sometimes the diseases willtake people's life away. Dirty air will increase the rate of getting lungcancer. While the noise pollution will cause insomnia. People's health conditionwill be damaged.
In my humble opinion, people should take measures to control the ntly, not only the government, but also individual has taken part in theaction of protecting the environment. This is a good sign. Rivers are beingcleaned, air is purified, and the people come to realize that the importance ofprotecting the environment.
However, this is not enough, the problems are still exist. Not all of themhave been solved. Some factories are still pouring dirty water into the riversor give off the toxic gas into the sky. We should know that protecting theenvironment needs everybody's effort.

In this view, a real successful people, and he must experienced numerous times to stand up again and agin after failed, because without sweat and tears on the life road ,no one can casually get the beautiful flowers. Alfter a heavy fall Shi Tiesheng lost his legs, it must be a heavy blow for anyone. But he didn't lose faith in life, but use his brain and hands to show the infinite love of life;
Beethoven was blind and deaf, but he still had written the "Hero""Destiny"nd so on a large number of music works, in his unfortunately life, he doggedly gripped the "fate of the throat. They all had a fall, but they are strong enough to stand up, fight against fate and misfortune, finally they succeed. All in all, the sweat and tears on the struggling road is inevitable, don't look for shortcuts anymore, steadfast walk every step, we will succeed in the end.
